EnterFace offers navigational products for professional sailors and casual "weekend sailors". These products are designed to encourage boating safety and use of "rules of the road".

CHART

CHART is a navigational aid which, unlike the bitmapped images of other navigational packages, can be continuously updated to provide the most accurate information available. Multiple sources of information, such as the Local Notice to Mariners, surveying data, even your own data, can be integrated and presented on your computer's display screen. In addition, your GPS or LORAN signal can be connected to the serial port on your computer and your position will be displayed.

Requirements: DOS, Windows 3.1, 95, 98, NT and 4M RAM, floppy drive, 1M Hard disk space plus 0.5M for each chart.

Each week the database information is changed based on National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) revisions and Notice to Mariners.

EnterFace has a comprehensive series of charts ranging from Nova Scotia to the Caribbean including the east coast of the U.S. and some areas of Alaska. There are detailed charts of favorite cruising grounds and major harbors including the Chesapeake Bay, Long Island Sound and the Florida coasts. Our charts comply with NOAA's naming and numbering standards and we are constantly adding new charts to our stock. Please contact us and we'll arrange to ship the chart you need ASAP. Once you have purchased your copy of the chart program, you can download updates of the charts you have purchased from our download section of this page.

On-Board Computer System

Shipboard navigation and operation is difficult even under the best of conditions. Energy reserves, fuel consumption, "traffic" conditions, and even wind speed and direction can all be important in operating your vessel.

The On-Board Computer System (OBCS) displays shipboard equipment in one console. Using a shipboard computer, this system will track battery voltage, fuel rate, wind conditions, and even show your position on an updated chart! This information is then saved and referenced for your future use.
